“ Have been shopping at harvest health locations since I moved to Grand Rapids in 2014, and have been to all of their locations! Eastern Ave is my neighborhood store, within walking distance of my house, and I appreciate there being a health foods store situated in 49507! While it can be a bit pricey, I am happy to make intentional purchases there. Knowing the store is a long-time occupant of the Burton/Eastern business district is pretty special. You literally CANNOT beat their prices on bulk-packaged nutritional yeast, and they are one of the few stores you can find unsweetened dried mango (two staples in my pantry). I find their pricing on cooking oils and bulk-packaged items to be really competitively priced, in general. I do wish they’d go back to stocking Parmela dairy-free cheese; the only place I can find it in town now is Bridge Street Market on the opposite side of the City. Overall, a great community-oriented store with great staff and plenty of unique offerings. ”

“ I love this place (and the one in Hudsonville). I have good memories of going there as a kid with my Mom, and it's the only healthfood/vitamin store around I think. They have a great variety of dried herbal roots, leaves, and seeds that have a wide range of medicinal uses. The same goes for their extracts and tinctures. They also have books available to find out if there are side effects or cautions if mixing with other drugs, etc. The staff are helpful too! ”

They have SO much stuff to choose from but it is a whole foods/ health store so be aware there is NO dairy products or anything like that, they have lots of alternatives and other stuff to choose from instead like cheeses and milks, ice cream etc. they also have a nice big grocery and snack section, a really good produce section, and a whole area for health supplements and stuff like that! ”
